NEW DELHI: By planning a massive push at the state level, the Rajasthan School Education Department has broken a world record. Using artificial intelligence (AI), the education department’s “Rajasthan Ke Shiksha Main Badhte Kadam” programme evaluated 1.35 billion OCR sheets from 50 lakh children in Classes 3 through 8 between November 3 and November 7, 2022, earning a spot in the London World Book of Records. The officials of the World Book of Records, Aditi Tank and Pratham Bhalla, have handed out the certificate.
The Rajasthan School Education Department has shattered a global record by organising a significant state-level drive. The education department’s “Rajasthan Ke Shiksha Main Badhte Kadam” programme analysed 1.35 billion OCR sheets from 50 lakh students in Classes 3 through 8 using artificial intelligence (AI), gaining a place in the London World Book of Records between November 3 and November 7, 2022. The certificate was distributed by Aditi Tank and Pratham Bhalla, representatives of the World Book of Records.
The Education Minister stated that during the program’s competency-based evaluation of all pupils enrolled in Classes 3 through 8, 1.35 crore OCRs were uploaded by instructors using the Rajasthan Ke Shiksha Main Badate Kadam, or RKSMBK, APP from November 3 to 7. (AI).
