The Power of ancient Indian practise of Yoga

This joining or coming together is of the mind and the body. The ancient technique of yoga is based on the universal laws and has a strong backup of science which helps in creating a complete balance between the soul and the body. It is a great technique for releasing stress and anxiety. History says that yoga originated during the Indus Saraswati civilization in Northern India over many thousand years ago.

Yoga was practiced by selected few in the early times but now slowly it has gained popularity in the whole world and people from all over the world practice and performs yoga for good health and relaxed mind. It is one of the most easy yet highly beneficial practices because and creates a perfect balance between the mind and the body. To gather the inner strength make the body flexible, lose excess weight and creates a peace with the body. The high level of concentration can be achieved through continuous practice of yoga.

There are two other types of yoga, i.e. Karma and Bhakti Yoga, which are advised to people who are looking to gain spiritual experience in life. In addition to this regular practice of yoga it helps to develop self discipline and self awareness along with sharpening the mind and improving the intelligence. Today yoga has become so popular that the United Nation General Assembly has declared 21st June as the international day of yoga. A person who cares for the body and wishes to be intellectually strong practices yoga daily.
